Purpose

The purpose of this ever-changing column we hope will be a place to share. To share
what we have learned about Parkinson’s and Aviation, and although one might not think they have any connection, they do.
Both were our teachers of how to live life fully, enthusiastically and joyfully. Proving beyond a doubt that it is not what life hands to you that is meaningful, but how you shape it with your hands to offer back to the world.
We hope to offer back to you our version of what knocked us to our knees and how we
gained the strength and purpose to stand up once again, and take what we learned and see how it could help others.
Our lives were changed by having three parents hospice with us with cancer,
Alzheimers, and heart problems, so we are adding those lessons learned also. We know about the stress of caregiving and medical bills that impact daily life and ability to survive. It is not small stuff!
We don’t have all the answers. What we do have is this space to share.
We hope you come back and share your journey with us, as we take you behind the scenes of our family.
